  • The number of workers affected by a collective dismissal fell by 78.9% in September compared to the same month of the previous year, down to 992 affected, according to provisional data from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy

Along with this, there were 44.5% fewer workers affected by contract suspensions, down to 6,025, and 28.9% fewer affected by working hour reductions, with 199 workers. In total, 7,216 workers were affected by an Employment Regulation Procedure (ERE) in September, 54.4% fewer than in the ninth month of the previous year.

Of the total number of workers who were under an ERE in September 2025, 10.3% (740) were affected by a procedure originating from force majeure causes, while 89.7% (6,476) were affected by regulation procedures derived from economic, technical, organizational, and production causes (ETOP).
