- The National Statistics Institute (INE) has raised the rebound in inflation in March to 3.4% due to rising fuel prices caused by the war in the Middle East, which represents one tenth more than the flash estimate and 1.1 points higher than the rate recorded in February
According to data published this Tuesday by the INE, the group that most influenced the rise in inflation was transport, which rose by 5.3% year-on-year due to the increase in the price of fuels and lubricants for personal vehicles.
The housing group rose by 3.5% year-on-year because electricity moderated less than a year ago and due to the increase in the price of liquid fuels.
The clothing and footwear group also pushed upwards, rising by 2.6% due to the start of the spring-summer season.
